I've had the new battery for a couple of weeks now and can say that it is much better than the original. The additional size is not that big of a deal as some people might write and as others have said it makes it a bit easier to hold onto it. My original battery life was like this- charge overnight use it all day and plug it in when I got home at 5:00pm cause it was down to 25% or less. Did find it hard to go out after work without a car charger.
Pros: Easier to hold the phone (for me) Protects the camera lens Runs about 1 1/2 days on one charge where my old one went maybe one. Can now use this as my golf yardage program without fear of running out of battery on the ride home.
Cons: Need to get a new holster It's a bit heavy Kind of hoped the charge would go a *little* farther.
With that said, I'd say that I am happy with the purchase and will probably get two more for my wife and son's Incredible.
(Added additional comments after more use: I have found the charge to be much better than my original battery. My first post "CON" was that I hoped it would last longer. I think I was basing that on the fact that I felt that I needed to play and browse more since I had a new battery. :-) But after letting the novelty wear off I have found that I can get now get two full work days out of it. After two days of normal use I come home on the second day and find myself needing a charge (20%). If I charge it every night which I have been doing I have never been below 60% at the end of the day.)

By Mike Moore Update: After about 2 months of use the charge life of this thing went completely to hell. I ended up swapping the original battery back in and found it was actually much better. I've also since gotten a Droid Incredible 2 and the stock battery life on that is a vast improvement. I would also highly recommend the Juice Defender app as a way to save battery life if you don't constantly need your phone checking your email/facebook/etc. for updates. It turns off your data connection whenever the screen is off which saves a ton of battery.
By far the worst feature of the Droid Incredible (and really all of todays modern smart phones) is the absolutely awful battery life. Prior to purchasing this extended battery I would have to charge my phone at least twice a day, and it wasn't uncommon for my phone to go from a full charge in the morning to down into the red before noon with moderate to heavy use.
While this battery/case wont completely eliminate battery life as a major problem it does make a substantial difference. It wont turn your Droid into a normal cell phone that would seemingly last for weeks on a single charge, but under normal use it should easily last through the day. You should still be smart about managing battery life (turning off GPS, WiFi, etc. when not needed) just to be safe though. If you leave all that stuff on, stream music online and have the screen on constantly it's still going to kill the battery quickly.
As for the case itself, it basically doubles the depth of the phone, but other than that doesn't look bad at all unlike some of the other extended batteries for the Incredible that make the phone look like a step pyramid.
The only thing keeping it from getting 5 stars is the fact that there don't seem to be any protective cases available and the case itself does slim to none to protect the phone. The only positive is it does have that slightly rubberized feel on the back, which definitely helps absorb some of the impact if dropped, but the screen side of the phone is still left completely unprotected.

Got this one for Christmas and man does it have some lasting power. The normal battery would die quickly when running multiple apps, particlarly the navigation system. This product means I don't have to worry about the phone going down when I'm out for the day and I don't have to worry about running bluetooth, wifi, etc. when the charger is back at home because this baby holds a charge...loads of firepower.

By Rose Dillinger If you're a light user, I would say you might be able to take your chances with this battery. However, if you're like me and hope to have a battery that lasts through the day of all the apps and widgets open, consider the Seidio. That was my mistake with this battery and I wish I didn't get it in the first place. I had high hopes for this battery and I though I did manage to get 4 hours worth of heavy data use before hitting half my battery compared to just watching a few youtube videos on the original stock battery and had around 20%, I expected a bit more to last. I try to keep the screen as dim as possible, it's still going down and that's hard to do in sunlight. I'm gone literally half the day from home at college on Mondays and Wednesdays and let me tell you, if you're like me, you're gonna bring a charger regardless. It won't last even half a day if you're a heavy user, I promise. I also hate the way the case is. I can understand the cover being thickened by the battery, but does it have to be all over? At least with the Seidio I can have the chance to cut out the batter where a rubber case is at and fit it on there and put in in my holster. Plus, the soft material on there is starting to fade off. Now, I know that this is significantly more affordable than Seidio, but I expected a bit more and a bit more bang for my buck. I plan on giving this to my father who also owns the Incredible. I think he uses his less than I use mine and I hope he can make better use of this than I can since he is a lighter user. Also, this product should be packaged better and maybe give it proper methods of charging.
Like I said, if you're a heavy user and plan on getting an extended battery, don't waste your time or money on this one. Get the Seidio or the other one I've seen on Amazon. Or find one on eBay. Now that I have posted this, I hope people can make the right choice on which battery to get.

Not as Good as the Seidio, but better than stock batteryDec 24, 2010
By E. Morrow I bought this battery before there were any reviews. As I see some pretty good reviews on here I am wondering if not all these Acase batteries are the same quality. I was hoping to save money, as this battery is half the price of the Seidio 3500 mah battery. Used it for one week, leaving it on charger past the full charge status as suggested. The battery was lasting just a little longer than the stock battery, but not nearly as long as the reviews I saw on the Seidio battery. I had to charge the phone every night. So, for the price, yes it lasts longer than stock, but since it adds as much thickness as the Seidio battery, I returned it and got that one. The Seidio battery lets me go for two days now with heavy use before recharging. So if the little extra money is no object, I suggest that one instead. This company was great though, fast shipping, and no problem on the return through Amazon. So I would buy from this company in the future, just not this item.
