Wouldn't chargeAug 03, 2011
By patrice nango The battery arrived quickly as promised. However, after trying to charge according to directions on three different chargers (2 wall, 1 car), the battery wouldn't charge. In addition, my HTC Eris wouldn't read the battery so I had no idea if it was charging or not. Amazon was good about returning the battery, but because it was an outside vendor an exchange was not an option.

By Lee This battery came half charged, as others do, but when I plugged in my phone, instead of getting a charging message, I saw the notification light blinking red and green, alternately, and an exclamation mark on the battery icon. The phone could read the battery level, but it could not charge it. It said Battery Status was "unknown".

By David A Hale I had same problem as other reviewers. I wish I had read these reviews before I purchased. The battery wouldn't charge in my phone. Red and orange lights flashed alternately.
Do not buy!May 04, 2012
By Buddy I purchased this product without reading the reviews. When the battery arrived I put it in my phone to charge and the phone would not recognize it. This product does not work!

I wasnt able to charge this monster battery. I was also unable to use my current silicone cover due to the extra size of the battery and new cover. I dont fault the size, I understand it in theory, but I guess I didnt read the product information correctly. I dont know if I had a faulty battery, but I couldnt charge it with either my home plug in charger, my car charger or my usb charger. :(
