Difficult to apply, but adequate for $9Jul 27, 2011

When it comes to applying screen protectors for something this large, nothing is easy. In the past few months, I've applied protectors on to everything from my girlfriend's Pantech Link, to my iPad 2, Viewsonic gTablet, and Macbook Pro 13.
To be honest, I had an easier time with applying iPad 2 than my other two bigger gadgets, although that's not saying much.
At the heart of the problem is that unless you live in a clean room, applying these protectors is extremely difficult. You're fighting two things: 1. The protector fits so well that if you misalign even a little bit, it will protrude out somewhere along the edge that in the best case scenario, you get bubbles along the edge; in the worst case scenario, it sticks out completely from the body. 2. Constantly falling dust particles in the air. This truly makes you realize just how dirty your environment truly is. Even if you use your microfiber cloth to clean the screen repeatedly and think that you got rid of all the dust, in the time that you start applying to the time you finish, there will almost always be dust falling right back on to the screen.
So in the end, really it is the luck of the draw. If you just happen to not have any dust fall in to the middle of the screen, and that you manage to align your protector just right, then chances are you just applied it successfully. As for any dust particle along the side, just use your finger to slightly lift it, and use (as recommended by the maker) scotch tape to get the dust out, before putting it back down.
Anyway, it's a painstaking process and that's why the manufacturer included 3 protectors, just in case you mess up one royally. Because if you get dust on to the protector itself, unless you have an eagle eye to spot every little dust particle, you might as well as start new.
Despite that, it fits well. My iPad 2 is still very sensitive to touch. It reduces glare substantially, as well as finger smudges. This is also dry application so you don't need to use any liquid and risk damaging the device. The price is very reasonable too for a pack of three. There are cut out holes for the camera, home button, and light sensor.

By Laurie Really glad I got these screen protectors for the iPad 2. They fit perfectly and the anti-glare matte finish reduces fingerprints making it unnecessary to constantly clean the screen. I also must add I spent a couple of hours getting the screen protector on with the help of the cloth and the card. You can try to use tape to remove any dust that gets stuck under the cover. It's not easy, but it's worth all the trouble.

By Simon Screen touch feeling: perfect Fits iPad 2 greatly Anti-glare is effective, though it obviously shades in the screen very slightly. No discomfort or color effects. It's not especially easy to put in place, but no screen protector is. And thanks to the hot shower trick, it's not that difficult either: with care you can do it on the 1 try. Note that the card provided is useless to extract the bubbles once the protector is in place, but it is useful to help installing it.

No matter what the description says this does not work with the iPad 3. It makes the display look horrible. It ends up looking fuzzy difficult to read and definitely ruins the retina display. I will be returning it .... Very bad.

No problem putting this film on my new iPad 2Jun 16, 2011
By PKU mom These screen protectors arrived two weeks before my new iPad 2 was finally delivered. I put one on as soon as I opened my iPad 2 and thus had no issue with any lint or whatever getting under the film. I had absolutely no problem putting on the film. It fit the iPad 2 perfectly. At first it seemed as there were too many bubbles underneath, but all but one tiny one quickly disappeared with slight rubbing with the small cloth provided. I am pretty confident that the tiny remaining bubble will work its way out over time like the bubbles did under the film I put on my iPhone. I wish I could have purchased just one film rather than the three since it was so easy to put the first one on the iPad. I am pleased with this purchase.
