Excellent Screen ProtectorJul 30, 2011
By JLondon **For those of you that are having trouble installing screen protectors of any kind there is a foolproof method of installation that will take all the stress out of the install and ensure you have a bubble-free, lint-free, and perfect fit. All you have to do is mix a tiny bit of dish soap with some water in an empty spray bottle and first spray your fingers (don't dry them, keep them wet when touching the protector to avoid fingerprints) then spray the side of the protector that will go onto the phone very generously with the solution. Don't spray the phone itself, just the protector. When it is covered 100% with the solution just drop it on your phone and you will notice that it easily slides around so you can be sure to get a perfect fit. When it's all lined up take a credit card, license or any stiff card to squeegee all the water out starting from the center to the edges. It also helps to spray the outside of the protector with the water/soap solution to help the card slide easier. All the microscopic dust and air bubbles will be pushed out with the water so you are left with a bubble free protector. All the soap does is lubricate the surface so the dust and stuff gets pushed out. In my opinion this is the only successful way of installing screen protectors. Don't worry about water getting into the headphone jack or dock connector, it won't. To be sure, just squeegee the water out the sides of your phone and not the top and bottom. Hope that helps some of you.
I have tried almost every kind of screen protector including ZAGG invisible shield and XO Skins. Every protector is basically the same, it all depends on how thick you like it. My last protector has almost a rubbery texture to it but because of the thickness it appeared wavy at an angle. The Acase protector is made of of an entirely different material that truly is invisible. It is more dense, meaning it's not soft at all. It feels like you are touching the glass itself when it's on. I don't ever put screen protectors on my iPhones simply because no matter what the claim, your retina display just won't be as crisp as it is without any protector and your finger won't glide over the surface as easy. I got my iPhone 4 when it came out and have yet to see a scratch on the screen and it has never been covered. I only put a protector on the back, so if that's what you are looking for as well then this is by far the best deal out there. You get 3 front and 3 back protectors.

The protectors sent do not match the pictured covers. The one's received are poorly made. There is not cut out for the front facing camera, shown in the picture, and the cut out for the home button and ear piece are not centered. You can only center over one, not both, so the the screen protector ends up uncentered and looking horrible. I thought if I spent a little more than the $1 protectors I would get a better product. Guess not. Avoid these.

By hnicoley So i got this product and although it works there are so many bubbles on the screen. The bubbles get really annoying!! At first I thought that maybe I had made a mistake when putting the screen protectors on so i took it off and tried with a fresh one, to only end up with the same problem. Do not get this product unless you are ready to wrestle with it just to still end up with bubbles on the screen.

By Mh These protectors are cut perfectly for both the front and back of my iPhone 4s. The cut outs line up exactly with the home button, speaker, and camera parts. I agree with other reviewers who said that you cannot even tell when they are on. However, they do get streaky from fingerprints and require a wipe down every so often.
In terms of application, I did not use the included cloth. In fact, I found that it left more dust. Instead, I recommend using a high quality microfiber cleaning cloth and solution. I used a Vizio LCD screen cleaner and cloth. If you are very careful, it is certainly possible to get the protectors on without any dust or bubbles. It just takes time and patience. Also, I found that a credit card was handy for smoothing out the protector as I applied it and after it was on. Just peel the backing off very slowly as you press. Also, be careful when you take the final protective piece off the protector. I accidentally pulled the protector itself off my iPhone instead of the last cover sheet.
