Very smooth writing and a good clip; my favorite of many iPad stylusesJan 03, 2011
By Matthew Ando I've tried many iPad styluses, including this one, the boxwave stylus BoxWave Capacitive iPad Stylus (Jet Black), the pogo sketch Ten One Design Pogo Sketch stylus for iPad, iPhone and iPod touch (Burnt Orange), and the "new model" Acase stylus Acase 2nd Generation Apple iPad / iPhone / iPod Capacitive Stylus (Metallic Silver) Newest Model. I also own the acase pen/stylus combo. This one, which is the same as the Boxwave, is my favorite.
I use the stylus with inking apps such as Penultimate and Noteshelf. With this stylus my handwriting is essentially the same as with a pen and paper, and if anything the stylus and iPad are smoother. In addition, this stylus has a nice sturdy clip which is tight enough to hold the stylus securely, but loose enough to attach easily to the ipad case or my shirt pocket. The stylus is about four inches long. The tip is fat, but the line you make depends on the app. I got used to it very easily, and it only causes me trouble when I'm trying to use the stylus with a straightedge.
This stylus writes much more smoothly than the pogo sketch. In addition, the clip on the pogo sketch is plastic, and I broke two of them by clipping the pogo sketch to my iPad case and the putting the lot inn my bag.
The 2nd generation Acase stylus is longer, about 5 inches, so it looks more like a regular pen. Some my find it easier to hold, but I don't. The tip is narrower, so it is probably easier to use with a straightedge, but it writes less naturally for me with the apps I mention.
The stylus/pen combo has the same tip as this one, and it's nice to have a pen too, but the clip is tight and doesn't attach easily to my shirt pocket.

Inexpensive, great helper for the iPad.Dec 18, 2010
By W. Eppick This is a very simple device. It's main advantage is that one can touch the screen more precisely with it than with a finger. It's especially good for my 90 year old mother-in-law. She loves it. She keeps wanting to get one for everyone around her whether they have a touch screen or not. I wouldn't have an iPad without one of these.

Sturdy Stylus Sells Itself!Dec 02, 2010
By R Murphy This is a quite satisfactory stylus for use with the iPad. It is sturdy, has a good strong clip, and it works quite well on the iPad writing apps. I would note however that is only about 4 inches long and that may not suit every hand. Some have noted the tip is delicate but I have not found that to be the case after two weeks of use and carrying it around in a backpack. The tip shape may surprise some too, as it is rounded, and not pointed like a pen. I have not compared this with any other stylus models, but I can recommend this one as a good stylus for use with the iPad.

Stylus is Okay, Clip is FlimsyJul 13, 2011
By Karl Burrows Bought two fo these for 2 1st generation iPads. The stylus itself is acceptable, but the spring clip that allows you to attach it to the iPad is flimsy. One has broken in just a few weeks and the other spring is starting to get loose. The other issue is this it is fufilled by Amazon, but there is no way to get support from the manufacturer. There is no contact information on Amazon or on their company Web site, so if it breaks after the 30 day Amazon return window, you are out of luck.

This very attractive stylus works as well as it looks! The soft rubber tip protects your iphone or ipad screen while functioning flawlessly. I do not have to apply as much pressure as was required by other stylus' I purchased. It is also durable. The tip does not flatten as some others might. This stylus has made playing games and drawing/writing on my iphone easy and more comfortable. It is also a good size and weight to use and to carry around. I have given this as a gift to other family members who all agree that this is the perfect stylus.
