Much better than the included caseNov 12, 2011
By J. Devine Bought this because after a few months the velcro on the case included with the Transformer wore out. This case works completely with tension- the Transformer "snaps" into the case and the cover is locked shut by having stiff edges that curl around the case. It seems like it will last a long time. - Very well made - every port except the charge port is exposed when the cover is on and closed - All corners are covered with thick plastic or steel reinforced leather. The device seems very well protected. - Well fitted to the device. The Transformer has a curved back, and the case is curved perfectly. - The stand function is well designed and works perfectly. As previous reviewers have said it doesn't lock in the stand position, but this hasn't been a problem for me.
The only negative is that you have to remove the cover to use the docking keyboard. The Transformer fits very snugly in the case, so you are not going to want to be taking it off and on frequently. If you are going to use the Transformer as a tablet most of the time, get this case. If you are going to use the device in laptop mode most of the time, there are better options,
BTW- they seem to be having lots of special deals for this device- at the prices I've seen at amazon, its a steal.

The best case for asus transformer so farAug 02, 2011
By blabla It is a great folio, very well made, genuine leather, looks great, very slim profile, keeps tablet well protected. Stand is a nice feature.
You can connect tablet to a keyboard by laying down the cover behind the screen. But you won't be able to put a keyboard on the cover. Also the folio can't cover tablet with a keyboard.

This is the best-looking case I've seen. The attachment system is solid, yet not bulky like the pockets used in other designs, and the clasp to keep it closed works very well. I would have given it five stars, except for two issues: 1)Like most cases, this one seems to be primarily designed to be used as a stand. Folding back the cover to hold the pad in your hands works fine, but the case seems to want to pop back open like this, and there's no way to keep it open in this configuration. I have yet to find a case that works well for this purpose, which is very strange. 2) It can be used with the keyboard attached, but it just barely doesn't fit. I think if the hinge portion were made a little bit wider, both of these issues would be solved.

PROS: sturdy, perfectly sized, thin, lightweight, can support the tablet at different angles, does not cover the front area.
CONS: the tablet often slips when using it in angled position, latch is somewhat awkward to use and it seems the leather will wear quickly there, no opening for charging with closed cover.
One day I'm just going to cut the opening myself - to be able to connect it to power with the cover closed. It's such a silly thing - it should have been included in the first design!

You get what you pay forJan 11, 2012
By mg I usually don't review items because i know what i'm getting and research it, with the Transformer case i thought it's just simple so i expected it to work just right but, whenever the tablet is standing on the second or third view (smallest and middle angle), it will slide over the 'edge' and just drop down. It gets really annoying if you're moving around or typing because it will keep sliding more often.
