Nice Case - Fits Tab 10.1 PerfectlyJul 06, 2011
By Ryan Noell After deciding between many different cases, I settled on this one and am glad I did. I was worried that the case would be too thick and bulky, although it is quite thin and has a surprisingly nice build quality. Another advantage I was unaware of, is the magnetic close. Recommended.

Perfect for Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1Jul 05, 2011
By Jeffrey D. Doan Just got it over the weekend. Great fit for the 10.1 with all the jack, buttons, port, speakers cut-outs aligned correctly. The leather is soft enough for the price, and since it has the flap cover, I don't need to shed out the extra bucks for the screen protector (I always hate to use those screen protectors, since they just give more glare).
Overall, this case adds about 2-3mm to the thickness of the Tab, which is actually no big deal for me as it actually makes it easier to hold the Tab. It does cover the Tab all around which should help quite a bit if I by accident drop the thing.
The only problem I have with it is you cannot charge the tab with the case closed, but then, it's probably not a good idea to charge with the case close since you may inadvertently open the case and bend the charge connector.
Other than that, I would strongly recommend this case for the Tab 10.1 for its price ($20 + free shipping). It's much cheaper than buying the Samsung Flip Case which is a major rip off at $60 that doesn't open flat due to the curvy corner.

Great case for the Galaxy Tab 10.1Jul 19, 2011
By Riley We did a search on cases for the Galaxy Tab 10.1 for days and finally decided this was the one that would suit us the best. We made the right decision! We were worried it would add bulk to the tablet making it lose the appeal we liked so much, being lightweight and thin but it didn't add to much of either. It is well made and fits the Galaxy Tab 10.1 perfect! It fits all around the case like an envelope with the cutouts available. The only cutouts not done which they wouldn't have been able to do is the side speakers. But we have not had any problems with sound. It folds back to make it an easel or you can just fold the cover back to use it the tall way. You cannot charge the tablet with the case closed but this was not a big deal to us since the top cover folds back so nicely. The magnet around the case holds the cover well.
Glad we purchased this and we would definetely buy this again if we ever needed to.

Great lightweight leather protection, but it IS a bit bulky.Sep 01, 2011
By Zoe 9/21/11 Update! I was shocked upon removing my tablet from the case to find that the super strong corning gorrila glass had been slightly SCRATCHED UP around the borders where the case held it. This can only be explained by the dust that gathered at the corner of my screen and the tablet wiggling around a bit in the slightly oversized case. FML!
I would probably have been better off without this case.
Thank goodness though that it was only the areas of the screen that was directly underneath the the case (so, the dark bordering bezel of the tab) and not the center or anything. Might be able to get the scratches out with some glass polish. If your case doesn't get very dusty and you're careful not to let it wiggle around, you might be okay.
Oh, and upon closer inspection, this case really seems to be made of MANAMDE leather. I get that impression from the way the material is peeling off a bit in flakes with wear, unlike leather. Even so, it smells a little like and feels like leather and is certainly the best imitation leather I've seen, so I don't care. ------------------------ In case you're wondering- is this case going to be a little bulky for my super thin tab? The answer is yes. I was disappointed by how much the case noticeably extended past the tablet in width and mostly length. I think that it's a bit longer in order to absorb shock or something in case you ever drop it, and just for general additional protection, but it ends up making the tablet look pretty big. It doesn't make the tablet look too much thicker though, just longer and slightly wider, which is a little bit better than some other cases I guess. I've had many people look at the tablet ask "which tablet is that?" or the typical- "is that the iPad?" and then following with "ooh, it's a little bit bulky, isn't it?" And of course the answer is, "no, it's not, it's just the case..." But no one of course, will believe that it's actually super thin and sexy underneath, and who wants to take the case off every time you'd like to show off its beauty to someone? The extra extension past the tablet also makes it a little difficult to reach the volume rocker without accidentally pressing the power button, since you can't really see behind the top ledge that well while viewing videos.
That being said, this case offers excellent protection to the tablet, and there is a perfect fitting hole for ever port or side button on the tablet. I feel like with the case on, if my tablet ever took a slight fall, it would better protected. It has also been really great for guarding the tab against scratches inside of my treacherous key and coin filled purse. The case also adds a little bit of weight to the tablet, but I guess that's expected.
The leather on it is nice enough, it gets better and a little softer the longer you use it. It gives the tablet a nice grip for holding, and the viewing angles come in extremely handy for watching videos and putting down to type. However, if you have small hands, it will be harder to type with two hands while holding the tablet.
Another flaw that may be worthwhile to mention however, is that the leather flap at the bottom which holds the tablet in place is not completely secure and slightly loose, so the tablet will shift out of place once in a while or slowly slide down with use, and you have to adjust it once in a while. It's not loose to the point that the tablet would ever fall out of the case, but it shifts the tab out of place. This is annoying if you use the camera feature a lot, since the camera hole gets misaligned and all you can see on the camera's live view is pitch black. It's an easy fix, you just push the tablet back into place, though it still makes the case a less convenient product than I was hoping for.

Decent case for a decent price.Sep 20, 2011
By Dan W. The Acase Samsung GALAXY Tab 10.1 case is a pretty nice case if you want it for its price. Its genuine leather feel and lightweight case is definitely a plus as well. I am very satisfied with this case and I plan to keep it until I have enough money to buy a better and more expensive one. However, if I had the money to buy a better case I would. The Acase Galaxy Tab case has as only two things that bother me. One would be that it can only make the tablet stand in a fixed position which makes it pointless to even put up in the first place sometimes when you can just hold it. Another negative would be that when the cover is on, you won't be able to charge your tablet. You would have to open the cover and fold it back for it to charge. I am not saying that these things about the case is crucial but it would be nice to have a case without these inconveniences. Again, great case but I am picky. :)!
