Works well for their intended purposeDec 07, 2011
By FisherKing Well, the first thing is I am grateful for it being a 3 pack because I personally have never had luck installing any screen protector without a problem. At least with a 3 pack if you are like me your first attempt could be considered a practice run. It would also be helpful if you had a "clean room" to use during the application process. No matter how perfectly clean my tablet was before beginning somehow 1 or 2 specks of dust always seem to make my laborious effort to attain a perfectly smooth bubble and speck free screen. That being said this is an excellent protector and the matte surface doesn't seem to show every finger tap or swipe like clear protectors or none at all. I have had comments that my screen didn't "pop" like other tablets in terms of brightness after the screen protector was installed however I personally will give up a subtle change in brightness for a cleaner looking screen. If you are not frustrated easily or crazy like me about how your tablet looks should a speck of dust find its way onto the screen during application then you will find that this is a fine product . When I see single packs for sale I don't even bother to look. This is based on my wealth of experience with protectors for cell phones, mp3 players etc. Also, what makes a single pack protector worth 2 times more than this 3 pack? The prices of some single packs are so ridiculous they should include installation. I wonder what the margin of profit is on these things! I bet the original inventor(s)are laughing all the way to the bank especially since they probably know there are plenty more people out there like me who struggle in applying them so they are guaranteed to get repeat sales or am I nuts?

By Jim B I've used screen protectors like this on my phone previously and they've worked well. As another reviewer said, good thing he had a 3 pack to go through with this product. Personally, I could have had a dozen and not even gotten close to clearing all the bubbles off. I would have liked to have the anti-glare aspect of it, but for what it saves me in not having to wipe down the screen, it's not worth the hassle. I really wanted these to work, but the closest I got with one to being bubble-free, some specks of dust must have floated in because I had a bunch of bubbles. For the time it takes to do it right, you would need a nearly sterile environment to do it in. Save your money and just pick up a microfiber cloth to wipe down the screen, with the added bonus of not having the urge to punch something.

By beantown I was very pleased when I put the screen protector onto my tablet. It fits well and I like how its matte so that your fingerprints won't show. My only problem was getting all the bubbles out. I got most of them out but then again they don't bother me and I'm not too great at putting on screen protectors. If bubbles dont bother you then I would definitely recommend this.

By douwe I found it impossible to get all the bubbles out. Even when I only had a few left after first applying I could not get all of them out with the plastic card or my finger. Once you turn on the tablet the bubbles show up as small dirty stains. I found it distracting. Also the plastic is not clear so there is somewhat of a haze over the screen. Overall I'd rather live with the smudges my fingers make than with shortcomings of this product.

By zroe doesnt fit well and hard to apply because it appears to be large. You must be careful when applying it.
