Worst screen protector everDec 28, 2011
By WOWZERS Being someone who puts screen protectors on for a living working at a major wireless carrier, I can say without a doubt this has been the worst screen protector Ive ever attempted to put on. Heres why:
1. There is dust in between the layers of screen protector. So when you go to put the protector on there are multiple bubbles that do not come off easily. 2. Very light material. When you are trying to push the bubbles out you are more than likely going to scratch your screen protector because of the pressure you need to apply. 3. why advertise japanese material? what does that even mean???
overall this has to be the worst experience I have ever had putting a screen protector on.
TAKE IT FROM SOMEONE WHO PUTS ON 15 TO 20 SCREEN PROTECTORS A DAY KEEP SHOPPING FOR SOMETHING ELSE

By CuriousEggroll I believe that the screen protector already have a few tiny specs of dust inside them so no matter how good you are at putting on screen protectors, there will be dust underneath.
The first one was just horrible. I put it on and there was tiny specs of dust everywhere. I've put screen protectors on countless amounts of gadgets so I know what to do and I am fairly good at it. The first one was just utter fail. The second was much much better although there were still dust underneath but they weren't on the screen itself.
Here are some tips for people putting on screen protectors
1) Do this in an open area like a garage or a back yard or even a bathroom. Make sure to stay away from things that generate dust such as towels, carpets and etc.
2) The cloth that came with this is useless. Get a clean microfiber cloth and just run it over the screen. What helped me a lot with dust is using a compressed air cannister to blow away the dust from the screen, works really well.
Once applied, the screen protector feels really nice and doesn't leave finger smudges everywhere which is why I got it in the first place.

A good product which is easy to install if you have patience to use the card provided to get rid of bubbles form during installation, lots of bubbles. However I don't like the fingerprint on it after playing, very easy to have fingerprints left behind.

The Acase screen protector for my BlackBerry Playbook is outstanding. The size and accessory cut-outs are perfectly sized, and line up accordingly to the front facing camera, led, and speakers. The Acase was extremely easy to apply to the Playbook and came with a pre-application cleaning cloth, and a very sturdy/large bubble card (smooths out bubbles that may appear during application.) I had no problem applying the screen protector precisely the first time. It did have 2 small bubbles after application, but they were gone within seconds of using the plastic smoother. It protects the screen very well and cuts down on smudges, and for the price, IMO, is un-beatable.
UPDATE: I've had this screen protector on for quite some time now and I have to say it does a great job! There are times where I un-knowingly toss my car keys, remote, PS3 controller, etc; onto the screen of the Playbook when sitting on the couch, and I will also set my BlackBerry Bold 9930 Phone (Sprint) on top of the Playbook, and guess what? NOT 1 SCRATCH! Usually when purchasing accessories (cases, screen protectors, etc) I like to purchase 1 at a time and do a "trial by fire" until I find the item that works for me. Now that I've put the Acase Screen Protector through its fair share of blows, I will never purchase another brand of screen protector for my Playbook!

I've purchased screen protectors from varying manufacturers, but the Acase brand is by far the absolute best. Easy to install and exceptionally smooth touch screen motion.
*Tip when applying the protector wipe the screen clean with a microfiber cloth and blow away any remaining dust with a can of compressed air.
