4Good Product, Great Price.Mar 12, 2011
By TechSavvy11
I am using this product right now to write up this review on my iPad. Here are the features and their reviews:

Pros:
- Size: The case in all is a nice compact design; easy to carry around without much bulkiness. As a professional business person, this case provides a simple, yet convenient size for travel.
- Design: This case has a very professional look with the synthetic leather case, great for taking into important business meetings. It also was designed well to allow you access to all important features on your iPad such as, light sensor, home button, volume controls, charging/connection port, microphone and ear phone jack, and speakers.
- Keyboard: Smaller than your average laptop keyboard, but doesn't take much time to get used to. The entire keyboard is smartly integrated into the case with a durable stitching securing it. It also has a low profile design allowing the case to fold to the width of a medium sized book.. The keyboard keys and buttons are all constructed in one total silicone/rubber material which does not allow food, drink, or dirt to get into or under the keyboard.

Cons:
- Keyboard: the bluetooth connection allows some keys to repeat input when pressed (doesn't happen often, but sometimes). The "delete" key functions as a "back arrow" key instead of a true delete key.
- Design: When using this for writing purposes (like I am right now), the portion holding the iPad does not have the best stability when put upright at the manufactures suggested position. I have found though that if your move it forward a bit, it sits conveniently on the very top row of keys (ESC, F1, F2, etc.) without actually pressing any of them, which increases the iPads stability by 10 fold.
- On/Off switch: Kinda small and indented into the side of the case. I bite my fingernails (I know, bad habit) and have difficulty actually turning the power on and off.

All in all, a great product worthy of purchasing for the price, convenience, and usability.

5Absolutely loving itMar 14, 2011

I had a non-keyboard Acase case and felt the quality was very good so had no qualms purchasing the Acase branded case with a bluetooth keyboard. It is extremely easy to setup and just works. Today I used it in a business meeting to take notes for the first time. You should have seen the people from the other company trying to figure out what my cool rig was. HA! I didn't tell them and just left them to simmer with jealousy. This is a very nice, easy to use keyboard that just turned my iPad into a laptop replacement. The keys are rubberized and have a comfortable feel to them while typing. The case itself is professional looking and can fold back easily so you can use your iPad like normal when you don't need the keyboard. If the iPad goes to sleep while using it (I almost did in the meeting), press a key on the keyboard and the iPad wakes up within 2 seconds. My only criticism is that there is only one shift button and it is on the left side of the keyboard. I tend to use the right shift Key in my typing. But overall, not a big deal.

3Quality case but keybord mkes lotts of typosssApr 29, 2011

While the case looks and feels like it's of decent enough quality -- in fact, I could swear the same case is selling for 25% more at Brookstone -- the keyboard is impossible to type on without making zillions of typos. Keep in mind that I'm about 115 lbs. with very slender fingers, so if I found the keyboard cramped, you pudgy-fingered or even average-fingered iPad fans will almost certainly have a severe attack of keyboard claustrophobia. Also, each key appears to have a very limited "sweet spot" -- if you don't press it exactly in the center with a touch that is just so, the character you thought you'd just typed won't appear at all. On the other hand, if you press the key too hard, you'll end up with a double- or triple-letter. That being said, the seller gave me no problem when I returned the unit. Hopefully, he used this keyboard when he processed the $48 refund, because I sure could use an extra $4888.

This is a great bluetooth keyboard...I was a little unsure because their was only one review about it but this product is great, very lightweight keyboard that does everything you would expect it to, case looks very professional and everything was a cinch to set-up

5Nice Protective Case and KeyboardMar 14, 2011
By R. Davidson "rodavidson2"
I find typing with the on-screen iPad keyboard to be awkward and slow because there is no tactile feedback and you have to watch the on-screen keys while you type. In addition, the on-screen keyboard covers most of the screen and so you can't quickly review what you have typed while you type. The Apple bluetooth keyboard is great, but it is not practical or convenient to carry along with you. A keyboard built-in to the iPad protective case is the answer!

Although this keyboard is slightly smaller than standard size, you soon get used to it, and doesn't add much to the weight. Now I can touch type and think as I type instead of hunt and peck. I wasn't sure if I would like the rubberized keys but they are fine. The only drawback I have found is the missing right-shift key and the non-standard location of the quote/apostrophe key. This is a compromise for a smaller iPad-sized keyboard, and certainly much easier to deal with than the on-screen iPad keyboard with swapping number screen, symbol screen, and alphabet screen.

You can use the bluetooth keyboard to remotely control your iPad Keynote presentation and this case/keyboard looks professional. It sits securely on your lap, which I doubt is true for any of the standalone bluetooth keyboards. This keyboard can also be used with the iPhone if you don't want to carry your iPad. I like the fact that you can "wake-up" the bluetooth simply by tapping a key and otherwise let it put itself to sleep when you are not using it.

All in all I am very happy with this product.
