Nice case if it wasn't discolored after a week of useOct 16, 2010
By frstrvw Let me first provide a little context in what I was looking for in my purchase:
- slim fit, with little or no added bulk, mainly to address the antenna problem
- not looking for a case that will protect my phone from physical drops
- clear case to retain the original iphone 4 design and appearance
- scratch free case (the Belkin Micrashield that came free under the Case program was filled with scratches)
PROS:
- adds little to no bulk to the phone
- cutouts fit perfectly if you plan on using apple earphones
- case retains the original iphone 4 design and appearance, albeit that is it not completely clear
- scratch resistant
CONS:
- the cutout for the headset connect does will not fit for bulky headsets connectors
- totally unexpected discoloration of the case after a week of normal use (i carry it in my pocket).
OVERALL: I was very happy with this case initially and would have kept it if it were not for the discoloration. If the discoloration does not bother you and you are looking for a product for the same reasons as I am, I would purchase this case. I will be purchasing the Power Support Air Jacket instead and hope that it will be a better replacement.

Solild Stylish polycarbonate caseAug 09, 2010
By automag82 I was a bit skeptic on getting this case. I have been buying the Incipio Feather for my current and past iPhones. I bought the Acase brand in addition to my incipio feather due to the available colors. Incipio use to have more flashy, vivid, bright colors but as of lately have been dropping the ball on colors. This case is built identically to the Incipio case. It has full borders on the sides except the bottom where you connecting the usb cable. There is a cut out for the micro sim as well. The Incipio case lacks full border and hugs the sides more so and has no micro sim cut out. I got the clear polycarbonate case and was a bit skeptic to how this would feel and look, being clear. This product has met and beat my expectations. Only negative mark is the company needs to get more brand awareness so more people know about them, but in the meantime you will have one of the more unique and stylish cases out there! Hope this helps!

By Jamie After looking around for a case that would protect my phone from scratches without taking away from the sleek styling of the iPhone 4 I came across this one. The reviews were good so I decided to go ahead and order it. Glad I did! It is just what I was looking for. The case has the look of frosted glass. It is made of a firm plastic but has a soft texture to the touch. What I like most about the case is that it is low profile, so the front of the phone remains all screen.
I recommend this case to people who are looking for something to protect the phone from scratches and give the phone a little something extra without comprising the sleek design of the phone. If, on the other hand, you are looking for something to protect your phone from rough handling and possibly some drops on the ground you should look for something more substantial.
Note: I already had a front screen protector so I didn't try the one that came with this case.

By Michael Dean LOVE THIS CASE. Very slim and simple case that looks/feels great. Going to get another! I always buy things in two's when love em (for backup)... I am telling ya, great case - and I'm picky!!
PROS:
-Super slim - don't like bulky cases that distract from the phone's design.
-Like the frosted look - can still see the Apple logo
-When using flash, illuminates the entire front edge of phone - (accidental, but cool effect)
-Does not scratch, and I have had mine for about a month now
-The material has good tactile feel. Rubberized (hard to explain) but grips well in hand.
-Comes with front screen protectors - very good quality too!
CONS:
Would prob not protect your phone's front display if landed wrong. But I'm carefull. Just wanted back protection mainly, but that's a personal preference. Not con in my book, but might be in yours.

Excellent value in a slim case!Nov 16, 2010
By VictoriaP The Acase Superleggera in Ice Cube is the fourth case I have purchased for the iPhone 4, and I'm glad to report that I may finally have found my permanent case. This case is super slim, feather light, and the soft touch plastic helps enhance your grip on these phones, which are typically quite slippery. Because the case is so slim, I've yet to find a third party dock it doesn't fit or a third party dock connector it can't accommodate--a big plus when you're talking iPhone 4 cases.
The compromise, of course, is that a case as barely there as this one is doesn't provide much drop protection, if any at all. Because of the less slippery sides and back, I do feel less likely to drop it. Still, if you're looking for good overall protection, keep looking. This will protect against scratches to the back and sides, nothing more. For me, having a case that felt good in the hand and provided a bit of grip was sufficient; I carry my phone in a leather sleeve pouch tucked into my purse. This also may not be the best case choice if you like to place your phone face down on a table, as like most other snap on cases, the case itself provides no protection for the front surface. Two included screen protectors can be used to compensate somewhat for this.
The cutouts for the buttons are excellent, and I've had no trouble manipulating any of them. The cutout for the headphone jack will only accommodate slim plugs such as those that were produced for the recessed jack of the original iPhone or the OEM earbuds included with your phone. The rear cutout for the camera and flash on mine is a teardrop shape, rather than the keyhole cutout shown, and there are no issues with either camera or flash in use.
Two reviews mention discoloration with this case, and I wish there were more specifics about that, because for me that was a big concern. I had two previous cases (including the pink Apple bumper) that became badly stained within the first week as they picked up excess dyes from inside various pockets and purses, as well as from inside the leather pouch I use. A month after purchase, my Acase shows absolutely ZERO signs of wear or staining. There are no scratches or marks whatsoever on it. As my phone has a decorative rear skin that's mostly white showing through the frosted finish of this case, any stains would be highly visible, and so far I'm relieved to say there just aren't any to report. The only thing I can say is that there must be some variable at work here that affects some users and not others--quality control? The environment it's used in? I will update this review later if mine changes.
Overall, I'm well pleased with this product so far.
