Excellent CaseJun 25, 2011

All of them are either an ounce of plastic or an ounce of rubber or a combination of the two.
Most retail for around twenty bucks or more. What?
This case fits very snug, looks awesomely minimalist and protects the phone from reasonable wear ( honestly, unless you're encasing the thing in 2 inches of solid rubber nothing is going to save your iphone from 'broken screen syndrome' after a drop).
This is great. Most importantly, it LOOKS like an iphone after you snap it into place - not a iphone wearing a muffler, scarf and a down coat.

By D. Parker This case absolutely fits my iPhone 4 like a glove. I bought it to protect my phone from scratches and it does the job without making the phone feel bulky or awkward. It also fits in my speaker dock perfectly. I didn't have any trouble with the plastic screen cover - really, you can't even tell that the phone is in a case. Several people have told me I really need to get a case for my phone and then chuckle when I tell them there's already one on it. I am about to buy a spare just to keep on hand.

I am not sure of the why people are giving lower ratings for this product, but think this is a good product, if not a great product. The case is the thinnest I have seen for the iPhone 4 and I does fit it well. The phone fits in my iphone belt holder well with this case on and it fits well on iPhone docking players without the need to remove the case. I am not sure it will prevent it from breaking should one drop it cause I have not dropped mine yet (touch wood). Even though it is meant for the AT&T phone, I got it for my Verizon iPhone. The mute button is not exactly aligned with the opening, but still provides sufficient access that one can use the button. The screen protector that came with it works just fine and people who complain I would guess cannot just figure out how to use it. I am happy with the cover so far and think it is a good product for the price.

This is indeed a stylish, minimalist case. On first glance it does look like a metal case. Not certain why its getting a bad rap for feeling cheap. It has some tack to it, so it doesn't slip from your hand.
Some reviewers comment that it doesn't cover enough of the phone. For me, this is not a problem. I prefer the recessed edges so I can make full use of the touch screen. Not to mention, it keeps it looking CLEAN.
I have dropped my phone 6 times, and the case took the pavement indentations, not my phone. Im not recommending this, and I am sure I am just lucky that my screen didn't shatter. But the case took the brunt of it, and left my actual phone without a mark. Even on the edges. So, I can attest that it does its job as a protective device as well.
Over time, the case does start to scratch, or peel its finish off. But hey, I don't really have high hopes for the longevity of a $10 case. I call it vintage, until it looks too crappy, and then here I am... purchasing a replacement. Because I like it, and it looks good for a long while.
I also really like that it covers the apple logo, and I like that the Acase logo is minimal.
I am really pleased with this case. Good job designers!

I've been through a few iPhone cases and this is the first one I'll actually use.
If you're looking for the best protection for your iPhone, look elsewhere. If you're looking for a case that doesn't significantly change the look and feel of the iPhone, then this may be a good option. The case wraps around the antenna rather than the front of the glass, so the front glass is fully exposed.
It comes with two screen protectors. The screen protectors appear to have been designed for the 3 and do not have cutouts for the cameras, unlike other iPhone 4 screen protectors I've used, but that may actually be a good thing. I wasn't completely comfortable leaving the cameras exposed.
This case appears to afford some protection without significantly altering the overall feel of the iPhone.
