Slower, Case BrokeAug 31, 2005
By Randy Given This was an okay flash drive. I was a little disappointed with its speed, in comparison to its competition. What finally turned me off was that after about 3 months of use (probably every other day), the top case broke and I no longer had a cover for it. Grrr. Now, I use it without the cap, but I worry about static discharge damaging it. Not to mention that the top is kinda an indicator to me that the drive is still inserted.

By Reefpip I've had a 2GB one of these for a while. Despite the fact that I keep it in my pocket, it's survived. Feels cheap, the plating is peeling off, the label is fading...but it works great, which is all that really matters. It weighs almost nothing.

By K. Driscoll This is a USB Flash Drive with pre-loaded compression software. The compression is very slow on any computer because it uses the flash memory, which has slow access compared to the computer's own RAM, for the compression operation. The space savings for anything except plain text is not worth the time to compress it to the drive. Just delete the software and this is a good flash drive. It's thin enough to plug in next to other usb cables, and there's no cap to lose.

By Kelly Salrin I love sony products because they are so durable, they can take a beating and still work perfectly. The same goes with the flash drive. The speed is great and when i accidently kicked it (dont ask) and it bent really bad but i plug it back in and it still worked. I say buy it!
