Almost perfect!Feb 27, 2008
By rossman This is a great product for those who are looking for an ultra compact thumb drive which has it's own non-detachable case. It attaches to your key ring using the metal clip attachment which appears practically indestructible but allows you to easily detach the drive for use. I haven't formally bench-marked it but the speed does seem to be on par with USB 2.0 (unlike some drives I've seen which claim to be USB 2.0 but are only as fast as USB 1.1).
The only have 2 cons for this product. The first is that it's slightly slimmer (thickness, not width) than other thumb drives of this type. As such, it doesn't FEEL like it's seated properly in the USB port when inserted. You can jiggle it around a little more than I would like for any USB device. That being said, I haven't had a connection or data loss problem yet, so this con maybe stemmed from paranoia.
The second con I have isn't really about the product and more about availability. I tried to purchase this on Amazon to get the free shipping. As their page on this item says, it does in fact take 3 to 6 WEEKS to ship. After about 4 weeks I got impatient and bought it from TigerDirect after discovering that there was no other place to purchase this item. I therefore had to pay a ridiculously high shipping cost ($16 shipping for a $20 product).
I the end, if you can get it, I highly recommend this product.

The product looks cool but that's all it has going for it. The keychain broke off in a weeks time, and the drive itself looks very flimsy like it can break easily.
However it still works, but its not robust.

This flash memory is amazing. It's very small and fast at the same time. I would recommend to look for the 4 GB memory of this type. It wasn't availabe when I bought this one.

Couldn't believe how easy it was to use!!!! Just plugged it in. My XP recognized it immediatly. No downloads etc.
