Refurb 1GB Zen V White/orange Eng/frAug 26, 2007
By Pam Simple to use. Fast and easy file transfer. Hold lots of info. Nice to share photos on the spot. Only complaint - cannot read the menu when I am on the beach and that is where I use it the most right now. It is kind of a guessing game to find the files there. Good battery power. Nice unit for the price.

By Samantha Grace I did not own this particular Zen, but I do have a Zen V series, but 8gb (NOT the V Plus line). I bought it brand new at the now extinct Circuit City. Anyway, it worked great for about 6 months, then the screen just froze while I was trying to upload mp3s. I did everything from uninstalling the software, re-installing, etc. but it's just been headaches upon headaches. It's been...as someone had nicely articulated, "an expensive paperweight" for the past 6 months. I'm very disappointed in it. It worked great for those few months, now it's just an expensive plastic piece of junk.

By Joyce as of this date I still haven't received this item. I've written to them twice gotten no response to either. I don't know if I'll ever get my player or a refund since I paid with a credit card. I would really like to have the player but so far I'm going to have to give them a zero rating very unsatisfactory

By Charles H. Spohn This product did not work. Would not hold a charge, was unable to upload music. It is not returnable for a refund. I sent the product back to the address supplied to me on December 29, 2008. As of today, January 18, 2009, I have not heard one word from them. I thought Amazon would stand behind this purchase.

I bought mine brand new a year and a half ago. Up until now, worked great, did its job, etc. I go to charge it other day and while it's charging, it turns on by itself, so I turn it off and it keeps on happening. Basically, it won't stay off so that the charge can build up and the player can be used. I've tried resetting it, upgrading the firmware, and then contacted the company for advise. They say that tech support by phone is available within 60 days of purchase and by email within 1 year of purchase. So I'm stuck with a player that won't work and the company won't even try to help me. I hate to complain, but would also hate for someone to be in my situation more than a year from now if they didn't have to be. I've tried researching the internet myself for a solution and lots of people in the same boat as me. Good luck in your quest of a reasonably price mp3 player that works well - because this one doesn't.
