5Excellent Card!Feb 25, 2008
By Cyber Express
Works great!! Plug in to the cell phone to get the extra storage. Plug in with the USB adapter works right away as a removable drive. Now after converting the video files to 3PG format, I can transfer them to the micro SD. Plug it into my Chocolate cell phone, I am able to play video. Excellent value. A little difficult to pull out of the USB adapter.

5Big memory, small packageFeb 13, 2008
By M. Lewis
I mostly use the microSD in the USB adapter. At about the size of a USB connector, I can't see how you could have a smaller USB memory stick - period. I wear it permanently on my key-chain (sortof a stealthy geek). It would be even better if it had a quick-connect on the lanyard, so my keys don't have to hang off of my computer. The microSD chip is pretty tight in the USB adapter (to make it so tiny), so it may be difficult to use this as a general SD card reader; back and forth from camera to PC. My plan is that when bigger microSDs drop in price, I'll move the old chip to my mp3 player, or my phone, or my camera, and carry the new one in the USB adapter. BTW, the cover on my USB adapter is red, not the black one in the picture.

5Great for Transferring Photos from your PhoneNov 30, 2008
By Arnim Zola
I believe most of the conventional (non touch-screen) phones with a camera use Micro SD. So this is a good set to expand your phone's memory and it provides multiple ways to transfer the photos to your computer.

You basically slide the MicroSD card from your phone into one of the included adapters and then into your memory card reader. Or if you don't have a memory card ready, just plug the MicroSD card into the USB adapter and plug that into your computer.

It's all self explanatory and easy to use.

2USB Adapter ProblematicOct 15, 2009
By Mercurius Victus
It's a great concept and initially I was very pleased. I mainly planned to use the USB flash drive/reader as an 8 GB replacement for my 1 GB Kingston Data Traveler II Plus Migo flash drive.

At first it seemed to work very well. However, over time I began to notice some quirks and strange problems that I never had with my old flash drive and which didn't go away. I had a lot of intermittent problems, especially with large files. I would get stuck in the middle of copying files or be unable to use the device. In a few cases, the disk even became corrupted and needed to be reformatted.

I think the problem is due to excess heat which doesn't get dissipated quickly enough. Now, to avoid problems I use the SDHC adapter to read the mini card whenever possible and only use the USB reader if there is no SD slot available.

That works okay, but since the flash drive was my main purpose, I need to look for a replacement. As cute as the small size is, I consider the excess heat to be a fundamental design flaw.

5Exactly what you expectMay 21, 2009
By D. Moulton "BookmanNYC"
This SD card reader is the tiniest I've seen, to the point where some people have asked what it is. It works perfectly, comes with an attachment for my key ring, and I couldn't be happier.
Great little thing.

**UPDATE**
After having this on my keychain for 3 weeks (it comes with a keychain loop) with the usual wear you'd expect for keys, it broke and is no longer recognized by my computer.
