Very convenient, lots of space, but slower than expected...May 08, 2008
By Brett H This is now the third San Disk USB/SD hybrid drive I've bought and they are truely a convenient and awesome alternative to carrying around a USB stick. Especially when combined with a camera or MP3 player which uses SD.
I've got a credit card sized wallet case for SD cards, and with two of these I've always got 16GB of data with me at all times.
The only disappointment is the speed. While this drive reads very very quickly, it seems to write more slowly - just my opinion.
I bought this stick to store a Virtual Machine (VMware) of XP (5GB) so I could carry my email and office programs around with me. Starting the machine (which only reads from the drive) is almost instant, but stopping the machine (which saves 1 - 2 GB of changes) can take 10 mins, or stall.
All in all, I love this product, but it didn't fill my particular need.

San Disk Ultra II PlusMar 18, 2008
By A Whim of Steel You cannot get more convenient than this. No larger than your thumbnail, whether you use this SD card for your PDA, your camera, or just to carry your files around, this little gem is amazing. It will fit in a credit card slot in your wallet, or in your badge holder.
The first time you use the built-in USB port, it feels like you are breaking the card - but it becomes natural very quickly.
The only drawback is that it's so small you won't notice it on the computer. So don't forget to take it home!
Wish these weren't so hard to findFeb 28, 2011
By M. Cleary I dont know what I would do without this thing, no need to have a card reader, it just plugs into the pc directly.

Good cardDec 14, 2008
By empi Works great! The convertible USB means that I don't need an adapter for PCs that don't have a media card slot and/or can't read SDHC cards.
For anyone who's wondering, this card is fast enough to record and play back video, even HD video. I use two of them for a Canon HF100.

Good if it worksOct 29, 2008
By T. Mccleary I bought this to use in my HP PDA for holding documents. Unfortunately, it isn't recognized. Oh well, there are other places to use an 8GB thumbdrive. Just not in my PDA.
