Great set of speakers!!Oct 23, 2008

These speakers were more than I expected in quality and sound. I reviewed and shopped for a week before I made my final decision. For the price you can't beat this set up. The only minor "issue" I found with them is when I put my iTouch 2nd generation on it and I'm leaning over to change the volume up or down, sometimes I acidentally knock the iTouch off the connector and I have to rehook it back up so that's a minor annoyance. However, for what it offers in price and quality it's worth the annoyance. In the future a remote would be ideal.

BummerDec 22, 2009
By T. Sifrer Was delivered very quick. Worked great at first then sound was either too soft or way too loud, no in between. Now it is in the garbage because it doesn't work at all. It was pretty good while it lasted. Great idea. I see why they were discontinued.

Positive impact on my listening pleasureApr 14, 2009
By J. Offenbach This is a compact, rigid, sound, versatile and attractive sound system that meets my needs and then some. I wasn't thinking that I really needed an iPod alarm clock, but I was wrong. Being that it zips into a nicely contained unit (with the exception of the AC adapter which cannot be stored internally) that's easily transportable, it's great for travel. The shell is rigid and covered with a nicely woven and adhered fabric, the zipper is substantial and the pulls (2) are flexible. Compartments for AA batteries are positioned on both sides of base rather than in one location, so it's aesthetically balanced with the i-device in center and controls with digital display in center as well. The AC and audio plugs are nicely protected by a rubber seal, so if you take this to the beach, it should stay pretty clean when you use the batteries and speakers. My iPod occasionally moves a tad when touched, so I simply pay attention to that and when making adjustments, am careful to not dislodge it from the base. The Sonic Impact i-P23 produces audio quality that is superior to any others I use and the buttons are easy to navigate. I was pretty stupid initially, however, wondering why the audio level was so low although I'd put it to the maximum on the iPod. Well, if you push the + or - buttons, then the audio level is changed. The SNOOZE option is an asset with the ALARM mode when I just am not ready to get up or listen, and the SLEEP mode is great. So, all in all, I am really pleased with this speaker system with the only negative being the occasional dislodging of my iPod.

Roxy IPod Portable SpeakersJan 20, 2009

I bought myself these portable speakers a year ago and I absolutely love them!! I really like that the case is hard and zips closed.. which protects the speaker unit and my ipod when I'm traveling. The speakers give great sound and the clock and alarm are great additional features. The only drawback I see is that there's no stow section for the wall plug. Not a major issue but it would be more convenient for travel if there was one.

Cool SpeakersNov 12, 2008
By A. Signorino I like the features of these speakers--alarm clock, zipper case, etc. My only problem with it is when I put my iPod in the dock and press play, it does not play immediately--there is a few second delay. In turn, I adjust the volume, thinking it is turned down too low, then when the iPod starts, it blares the volume. Otherwise, I am very happy with the speakers.
