Great larger drive for Xbox 360Dec 30, 2008
By J. C. Roth I picked this up based on a recommendation from a PCWorld article titled "Upgrade Your Xbox 360's Hard Drive on the Cheap". It describes using this particular drive to replace the base 20GB drive or even the newer 60GB drives for the Xbox 360. It is not without effort to accomplish, but based on the cheap price of the drive you will be saving yourself a chunk of change using this approach. This drive worked as promised and is significantly more quieter than the drive my Xbox 360 came with.

I bought this drive to replace the 20gb HD on my Xbox360 with a bigger one. It only took a BIOS flash from a bootable USB thumbdrive, a little unscrewing and reassembling, and I got a 120gb drive for less than 60 bucks.... that's less than half of the cost of the original one by Microsoft. You can even transfer your profiles and savegames from the old 20gb disk with a little of extra work, just look for a guide online.

By Genryo Was alittle tough to set up the hard drive for the 360, but it was worth it in the end, easy and cheap =D

Just what the Doctor ordered, had no problem modifying this drive to work with my Xbox360.
It was a great deal.
