Not as Good as the 1G caseDec 11, 2008
By Dexter Legaspi I had the misfortune of buying this case for my iPhone 3G and was sorely disappointed with the new design.
The original Cozip for 1G is very minimalist and elegant: just a cover on the back/side exposing the camera lens, ports, buttons, and the apple logo. I assumed that the 3G case was the same when I ordered it.
The new 3G phone is now a 2-piece case; Cozip thought it was a good idea to add a optional cover on the FRONT. Huge mistake. Sure, you can take off the front cover, but it leaves the small holes where the front cover attaches to the back cover...making it ugly and increases the chances of gunk getting on the case. Putting the front case makes it worse.
If you need a 3G case that is similar to Cozip's 1G case, buy SHIELD Apple 3G iPhone Shield Polycarbonate Slim Fit Case + Microfiber Cleaning Cloth - (Black) instead. Same material, same texture, without the ugly front cover.

By JustMe This case is great! I hate those "jelly" covers for the iPhone, they are all mushy; yuck. The hard plastic and metal cases are not form fitting enough and are often ugly. This molded plastic case fits perfectly and has a nice rubber feel to it. Not soft mushy rubber, but a firm grip. If you want the form fit of the jelly cover, but hate the feel of them, this is the cover for you. For me, it is perfect.

I have had this case for a while now, and I am still using it, and still love it. This case protects my iPhone well, and it still looks great.

By A. Strenger The Cozip case works very well with my iPhone 3G S. I fits the phone perfectly and grips well in the hand. It doesn't bulk up the phone too much and actually gives more of a focal point to the screen as the silver edges no longer distract the eye. Overall, it's a great case at an unbelievable price.

By Ken S. Sato Works well for me. Fits 3G well. Plastic has "soft" texture so not too slippery. Overpriced for a little piece of plastic but I guess that is to be expected.

Minimalist approach, maximum protection and utilityJun 26, 2009
By Truth Teller On the third version of iPhone, the 3GS, wanted to get something with less bulk but overall good protection coming from the Casemate Signature hard leather case. After reading and looking at many cases, the ups and downs of dust underneath and protection or lack thereof, I came across this soft polycarbonate case. Liked the other colors but the black on purchase was available via Amazon Prime.
For less than a half a dozen beans, I snagged this case. It has a soft matt finish that is very nice in the hand not too slick or unlike some others a plasticky feel. Cleaned my iPhone 3GS and put the unit in the bottom half. It snapped in tight. Took the front cover and aligned it and snapped it all around. Wow, that's a nice tight fit and secure clicking through all around.
Best part is that it has protection on all four corners. Unlike some other cases, there are no corner exposed so you do have protection in case you need it. Will it hold up in a fall? Hopefully, will not need to find out but if that is the case, this should hold up to most normal falls is my guess. Read some user reports of this falling down stairs, plunging 18 feet, etc. and that it stays together and the iPhone made it. Can see that is possible because unlike the Case Crown or some other similar slim fit cases, all four corners are covered.
Now just awaiting the Steinheil Anti-Fingerprint for iPhone 3G/ 3G S which ironically cost more than this case. In fact, it cost me more than double.
For the price, value and overall utility, this case is tough to beat. With free shipping, I had to try the black first. Didn't think I would like it as much as I wanted another color but with the white phone Apple logo on the back it's pretty cool. The fit and finish are impressive and the slim feel and fit are great.
Note: On the black model pictured here is an error. It is not showing the front plate that attaches. On the other color pages you can see that for yourself. The other colors on Amazon show the front and back plates together.
