Great Value for a Great ProductDec 30, 2008
By John_JT This is a great value on a great product. I've shot as many as 12 RAW images in a burst with my Nikon D300 and I've had no issue with the card being able to keep up. The cards come in true no frills packaging. Each came in a plastic case stored in one of those ant-static ziplock bags. At these prices I will be buying more.

Sandisk 8 GB CF cardDec 26, 2008
By David Saffir Sandisk, in my view, is in the top two of manf of cf cards. they are durable and reliable. I work on location quite a bit - mine are exposed to sun, rain, sand, chewing gum (!) and work fine.
The Extreme III is a great card, and very fast. Keep in mind that very, very few cameras can process RAW images in burst mode faster than this card can record. Match the card to the camera - and at this price, these cards are a steal.
Great productMay 28, 2011
By crferguson All of the Extreme III cards work fast enough for me as a full-time wedding photographer. 8GB is a perfect size for my Canon 5D Mark II cameras shooting in RAW. Have used SanDisk for years and have rarely had a problem with one.
Great card - fast deliveryMay 09, 2011
By J. Kelley I needed a card that would hold a decent amount of photos and be fast enough to capture moments at a wedding, this was the right card. It gets me through the ceremony without having to change cards until family portraits, I shoot RAW, and I do shoot a lot. I also use a Canon 5D, and the buffer time on this card is fast enough for me to capture what I need when I need... I will be purchasing many more of these in the future.
Nifty Cost Effective Speed Up for Win7 Arrived QuicklyApr 14, 2010
By Kenneth A. Edelstein Just plug it in and tell Win7 to use it for Ready Boost. Ready Boost is simailar to adding additional RAM to the motherboard but it's done externally. Win7 is a bit fussy and will only accept FAST USB "add on" RAM for this purpose. It's a lot cheaper and easier than opening the cover of the PC. Also, many PC's have full slots with smaller and cheaper SIMs from the factory. I dislike not using a small SIM (literally throwing it away) to put in a bigger on. Also, some PC require them to be replaced in matching pair. The USB add on can be a single unit.
This item is way fast enough for the job. Vendor had rocket ship delivery of a new primp part at a low price. Part of the "goodness" is that the "form factor" is not as popular as it used to be. That's great for me, big RAM at low price.
