A Simple SaverNov 17, 2010
By Pyanfar Chanur I love my PSP, but between phones, cameras and gadgets like it, I end up with Memory Sticks of different sizes. This cheap and simple little adapter has solved a lot of my problems. Keep in mind that this is JUST the adapter: no memory stick included.
I used this to load a tiny 8GB Memory Stick into my PSP and it works great. You simply slide the card into the silver-tabbed slot you see in this picture--it'll only go in one way--and when you stick the adapter into a device, it sees your memory as one memory stick device (in other words, it doesn't do weird things like the SanDisk USB sticks that have to install a pretend CD-ROM device, add a Launcher app, and then show you the drive).
The only catch to this device is that once you pop a memory stick in, it's going to take some fingernail-prying if you ever want to get it out again. I deliberately worked mine in an out a couple of times and that seemed to make it easier to access if I ever do want to remove the stick for good.
Very useful and highly recommended. In fact, I now have three of the things.

By CM62 This is one of the more well-put-together adapters I've used. My Sony HX1 needed a new memory card so I ended up getting an M2 Micro Memory Stick. It fit perfectly in this adapter, and has never had a read or write error.

By Troy H I bought this to add to my adapter collection and experienced no problems. If this adapter does not work with your device then you should first be sure that your not trying to insert it incorrectly. At first it seemed though it would not fit in my reader but as it turned out the metal side must point down. Every other type of adapter i've used the markings point up as one might expect but this one goes in the opposite.
Most external readers will take a variety of cards including this one. With some external readers you may not even need this adapter so that's worth taking into consideration. It has very faint branding though it is clearly new as these are literally a dime a dozen to produce. The poor quality ink used in the branding leads me to believe this is not a genuine Sandisk adapter. Not that it really matters since this is just an adapter and wont impact performance the least bit.
So to sum up my review if you need a cheap adapter this product does work.

By S SARANGKASIRI I recently came across a very good deal on memory stick M2 16GB (it was $30) so I bought several since all my cameras are SONY not to mentioned the 2 PSPs. This adapter was exactly what I need. I bought 6 to match my M2 purchased and the shipping was free - Great!
They were shipped by USPS. I got a note telling me the postage was short and I had to pick up and pay for the extra postage at the post office! My first thought was "Just 95 cents and I have to go pick them up". It pissed me off!
To get to the point, as soon as I informed of the 95 cents charge from USPS in the review, CTC apologized and made good by refunding the amount (instead of telling me I was wrong or giving more excuses like other merchant I had to deal with).
This is how you win the customer!!!! 95 cents mean nothing to me but the fact that they admitted the mistake and rectified it right away was commendable!!
FIND CHEAP M2 AND BUY THIS ITEM FROM CTC!!
