I have never loved a case the way I love this case. It is fantastic. It protects every part of the phone without feeling bulky, or slippery, or combersome. I have a Verizon iPhone 4. It covers all of the buttons (except the sound off/on) and prevents junk from filling in spaces where it shouldn't.
It feels great in hand. I really love this thing. The color is also great. I also bought a white one and a red one. Those are similarly awesome in color.
I highly reccommend this thing. You won't be disappointed.
The ONLY downside: I thought it came with a screen protector but it didn't. So I will buy one elsewhere...

By RHviii I went a little overboard after purchasing a 4S and ended up buying nine different cases/covers. This one is Easily my favorite. The color is rich and attractive (i bought a red one; any fingerprints buff off easily), it isn't bulky like i imagined it might be with a two layer cover, it has little rubber tabs that plug the headphone jack and charger jack (all that are left unencumbered are the earpiece and speakers, and as it is I feel its fairly water-resistant). The craftsmanship is obvious when you look at little things like where the aluminum and rubber meet: It fits together perfectly. I love the feel of the iphone when its naked, but if you have to have a case to protect it, this is great for that purpose and it looks good doing it. Kuddos to the manufacturer for making such a good product while keeping it so darn affordable. I do take it off occasionally because I like having a case with graphic designs on it, but if I could transfer them to this case, it would never leave my phone. I am impressed

** iPhone 4s issues with camera flash **Mar 09, 2012
By Madi Let me start by saying that I love this case. It is very sleek and to me, doesn't affect the lines of the iPhone at all. It doesn't add any considerable bulk (like the otterbox defender) and it has a wonderful sturdy feel to it. I purchased the case in purple. The purple is more of a deep plum than a bright, in your face purple. It is still very pretty though. The outer shell is hard but is sprayed with some type of textured coating so it is less likely to slide around and makes you feel like you really have a grip on the phone. The port covers fit snug and don't get in the way when charging with the factory provided charger. I don't think it would work, however, with a dock or any other type of mount as the rubber flap, when opened, is hinged toward the rear of the phone.
Here are my CONS: 1. Black silicone inner lining. Makeup (ie. foundation) rubs off on the black silicone inner shell. I like things to look clean, so this irritates me. I find myself constantly cleaning the outer edge of the case. (It does come clean though, so that is a plus). I haven't had any issue with dust or dirt accumulating on the silicone, only makeup.
2. Camera cutout. This one is the HUGE con for me. I purchased the case knowing that some people had issues with the camera flash on the 4s but the positive reviews outweighed the negative, so I took a chance. Unfortunately, the case, even though it says it is compatible with the 4s, is not. The cutout for the camera flash is not large enough therefore when using flash photography it affects the quality of the photo. This is a huge deal for me. I uploaded photos to the product section so you can see the difference between case on/case off flash photos.
It comes to this, I love this case and I would recommend it to anyone with an iPhone 4 or anyone with a 4s that doesn't care about the quality of their photos.
**UPDATE **
I wrote to Acase about the flash issue. Here is their response:

Thanks for contacting Acase.com
The flash issue is caused by the camera hole design. In order to totally avoid the flash reflection, the camera hole needs to be at lease 1 inch wide which will make the case look ugly. Basically, unless you really need the flash, you can set the flash to AUTO or OFF on your iphone 4/4s. For my personal experience, the camera of iphone 4s is very sensitive and in most of the conditions (even at night), without flash will take better photo shots. And, you can use software to adjust the photos.

I ordered the Acase Superleggera PRO case in Purple/Black and it's the perfect color. The eggplant purple is muted with a sheen, like a very ripe Bing cherry. It has only had to weather one drop from a few feet onto a wood floor (and no damage to phone or case) so I have not put it through it's paces yet to evaluate long-term survivability.
I have a long history of dropping phones on hard surfaces. My iPhone 3S had tumbled from many heights and hit cement, tile, wood furniture, and asphalt. An Otterbox commuter case had weathered them all with style. Naturally, when I upgraded to the iPhone 4S, I chose another Otterbox commuter. Unlike the previous case, the soft layer did not fit snugly, but once the hard layer was in place there were no gaps. I dropped that phone (by accident! The unfamiliar shape must have triggered my klutz gene into overtime) many times the first week. The phone was undamaged but the plastic part of the case broke. I ordered a new Otterbox case of a different color and the inner soft layer was even more "loose". I ended up using the old soft layer with the new hard shell to make it work.
When my phone was stolen--long, angry story--I scrimped up enough to buy a replacement (and siphon an upgrade from my kid's phone line). Temporarily, I used the old Otterbox commuter pieces and was annoyed with the slightly flimsy fit. They didn't have my favorite color choices anymore, so I was drawn to the Acase.
So far it's been great. The case fits very snugly and it took a minor bit of wrestling to get it in place. Unlike the Otterbox, the plastic overlay does not look plastic and overlaps more of the rubber. The texture of the Acase is less slippery so there is more friction when placing the phone on hard surfaces. The muted purple makes it look rich like velvet or burnished metal. I also like how it looks all black when it's in a dimmer light.
The rubber is a dust-collector so expect your black corners to have white specks if you don't rub them off. This case is well worth the money. I will update this review if it fails to protect my phone from a fall.
