Don't buy itMar 09, 2010
By Genaro Sole I've bought two of these readers from Amazon. Both died after several weeks of use, despite they were always properly unmounted from Windows before extracted. Another two friends in my work had similar problem. Too bad as it's size and shape is wonderful.

By Brian S. Plug and play is as simple as it gets and this works just as you'd expect it to.

Doesn't workFeb 21, 2010
By Kevin Sweeney Probably could have returned it but for the cost it was just too much effort. I wonder what percentage of them have this defect...

didn't work for meDec 09, 2009

This thing didn't work for me, but hey, it was free. To be fair I only run linux at home so maybe that was the issue. Since it was free, I didn't bother complaining or anything. The 16GB microSD card I bought works great, though.

An almost must have gadget.Nov 26, 2009

This is a great on the go gadget. I have two devices that take micro cards, and sometimes I want, or need, to download or print up some of the information from them. Since most computers don't have micro slots, this micro reader keeps you going without a hitch. All you have to do is slide in your micro card, locate the USB port. And, as the title goes, plug and play. I've owned this little device for a few months now and have not run into any problems with it.
One problem I've had with my adapter was with retrieving the micro card. It was almost as if it wanted to eat the thing!
This device does not, (I repeat) does not give me that problem.
So long story short, if you ever need to trade information on the go, this little reader is a must.
