Happy with my new SD card!Jul 04, 2010 This was exactly what I expected. I have used the SanDisk Extreme III cards before and they have never failed me. I wanted a larger card for a different camera, and purchased this 2GB card. The "bulk package" comment made me nervous, but it was brand new never used. There was no fancy packaging just the memory card in a plastic flip-case. The seller sent it promptly and I am satisfied with my purchase! Great price!
Decent price, seems to workApr 28, 2010 I haven't had a chance to fill the card up yet, which may be quite a job. It is holding about 108 exposures at the moment, and estimates I have read, which vary widely, are that it will hold several hundred more. To a guy who started over 50 years ago with a box camera that held a 12-exposure roll of 120 film , this technology appears to be magical. It puts hundreds of exposures on a device the size of a postage stamp, using a camera the size of a business card, powered by a battery smaller than a thin mint. I can't compare the speed to anything, since I just started using this, my first digital camera. I paid a little extra for this particular card due to its alleged faster storage speed, allowing for supposedly quicker readiness for the camera's next shot. I suppose I could do a comparison with the original 256 MB card and a 1 gig card I have acquired. If I do, I may report back.

SanDisk 2GB Extreme III SD Mem. Card-from Blue Proton Co.Apr 09, 2010 I'm really disappointed as I did not know that Bulk Package meant that the SD Memory card I ordered from Blue Proton meant that you will receive the SD Memory Card enclosed in its
Plastic Case ONLY. You get the Memory card and nothing else. I thought it would come in the SanDisk Manufacturer's Box. I thought that Bulk Packaging meant that, the Company known as Blue Proton got a special deal by ordering a certain # (large #) of SD Memory Cards in Bulk from SanDisk. Because the above Memory Cards came the way they did I have no idea if this card has ever been used before. Again, all that was in the package that I received was the 2 SD Memory Cards I ordered in their plastic Cases. No paperwork etc with this item. I won't order anything else that states bulk packaging again. Live and Learn. I don't order many items from the Internet, so this is my ignorance, but feel that Bulk Packaging should be clearly explained to the buyer, under product Description.
Best buy!Sep 19, 2009 I searched all over for this item and this is the best deal around. Even ebay didnt have this. I use my camera everyday and I depend on my equipment to work.Thank you for the great buy on this quality memory card.
Good product as promisedSep 12, 2009 Received the product on time as promised. It worked perfectly well until now. Will really try it at high altitudes in the near future.
